A cross-section of seasonal shift. Soon to be covered with more snow, yes? Allison’s comment is an interesting one, about the different ‘mood’ of leaves. For some reason it makes me think of a Nanaimo bar…

The beauty of this is in the composition — your shadow split over the lines dividing road (?), grass, flower bed, and plants. Such a perfect seasonal shot with all those withered leaves. The grass looks anemic, but we know within a week or two, it will be spring green again. Lovely, Elizabeth.
