Interesting texture and colour. Also, the photo could be seen as a closeup of bark, etc. or you can imagine it is taken from a long distance, like from a drone above a ravine in the forest.

Oh how adorable — the first signs of spring on the rock — both literally and figuratively. Sweet … and also such lovely textures, plus the strange little quirky thrill one gets when peering down into a ravine, large or small.

I love how the tiniest bit of green is not only seen at this time of year but celebrated! This is a picture of joy.

At first I thought it was a close-up of a a stick insect; my next perspective was “Very Freudian!”, in a Georgia O’Keefe kind of way; it could also be seen as a flat plane, like a marble tabletop. Anyway, very beautiful! And like Barbara, I appreciate the green! ❤
