  2. Absolutely stunning Elizabeth! If someone told me Ansel Adams took it, I would believe it. The tree branches have that crisp, deep silvery three-dimensional look juxtaposed with the flowing snow drifts. Really, really lovely.

  3. Yes, Ansel Adams. The shades of grey are wonderful. The slope and the sense of movement make it something that requires a second look for perspective. Great eye. Those snow swirls are unusual. Wind caused?

  4. Yes, wind caused. I knew St. John’s was one of the snowiest cities in the world but recently learned that it’s also one of the windiest, cloudiest and rainiest. (Not that the windiest part was really a surprise.)
