  1. Oh my lord. I don’t even know what to say. The various shades of blue immediately grab me. The dots of people, the squares of houses… the perfect ‘thirds’…

  2. I love the geometry here, the squares played against the angled roofs; oh and those wonderful lichen-decorated slate roofs; and of course the seaside, such a British sea-side, surely! I feel like bursting into song. “Oh I do love to be beside the seaside, beside the seaside, beside the sea…!” Oh dear, couldn’t help it. And all of that played against the two-thirds of the glorious sea itself. And — if indeed this is Britain — that this might be the only beachable day of the summer!

  3. At first I though that brilliant blue sea had to be the Mediterranean but then I realized the building style has to be England. What an enchanting scene! The rust coloured moss against the turquoise sea is breathtaking.

  4. That gorgeous blue sky is so blue it looks like it was painted into the skyline after the photo was taken! An angular skyline at that offset by the golden rooftops. Great WW pic Elizabeth.
