Fabulous shot, Elizabeth. All the more poignant with the lush green foliage and blue sky. Wonder how long it’s been waiting for a little attention? One of my favourite road trippin’ treats is discovering old and forgotten buildings like this one.

I agree with Cheryl – a road tripping treat – what fodder for the imagination – what is the story? Someone perhaps lived in this tiny shack, had dreams and now???

That it’s set on such an overgrown piece of property just adds to the mystique. How long has that stuff been growing around it, etc… Interesting frontage, the horizontal piece above the door. I wonder if it held a sign at some point. Looks like it might have been a shop of some kind. Retail or repair, something shoppy. Where did you find it? We need clues as to its history! Though excellent story fodder as it is.
